Here’s a cracking Scottish Wedding Venue…

Duchray Castle is deep in The Trossachs, surrounded by some incredible scenery, just outside of Aberfoyle. As you pull into the castle grounds this is your first view. As you can see a perfect spot for an intimate and romantic wedding.

These are the photographs of Simon and Jackie’s wedding. They travelled up from England, having planned for it to be just the two of them. Once they told their families they found themselves with a few extra people joining them for their celebrations at Duchray Castle.

Simon and Jackie booked me to photograph their ceremony. However, when talking to them about their plans they asked me where would be best for them to visit with their family during the morning of the wedding. I offered to include a family photography session at the David Marshall Lodge, just outside of Aberfoyle. This ended up being a lot of fun.

Having climbed waterfalls and trees we headed back to Duchray Castle so that Simon, Jackie and their guests could get ready for the wedding.

After the ceremony we went exploring the stunning grounds at Duchray Castle and with good timing the bluebells were out.
