I’m very pleased to showcase a real gem – Duntreath Castle, in Blanefield, near Glasgow. This wedding venue is actually a family home, owned by Sir Archie and Lady Edmonstone. The land has been in the family since 1435 and is as stunning as the actual castle. Lady Edmonstone recently commissioned me to photograph the castle for use in her new wedding brochure. I’ve posted some of those photographs below, before adding in my photographs of Peter and Anna’s wedding at the castle, this was an amazing day and I hope you like their wedding photographs.
If you are interested in my wedding photography at Duntreath, or elsewhere in Scotland please get in touch I can check availability and send you a brochure and price list.
These model photographs were taken at Duntreath Castle during Autumn, a time of the year when the castle and grounds looks even more stunning than usual.
Duntreath Castle is in Blanefield which is on the road between Glasgow and Killearn. It is tucked away, a real secret hideaway with large grounds and beautiful views.
I would strongly recommend considering Duntreath Castle as a wedding venue. You can’t see another building in the grounds, yet you are actually very close to Glasgow, so it’s easy to get to and very private.
This is from a series of snow photographs of the castle for Lady Edmonstone, used on their Christmas Card.
Onto Peter and Anna’s wedding, starting with a pre-wedding photography session that I organised for them at the castle a couple of months before their big day.
This is their much loved dog, Yogi who as you will see makes a couple of appearances in their wedding photographs!
Now, the big day. Anna and Peter’s wedding photographs start with Anna’s ‘I-Do’ shoes.
