Food & Drink Photography

Posted In: Photography For Business

So as 2015 is the year of Food & Drink in Scotland I thought that I would share some of my Food & Drink Photography. There’s been a real push in the tourism world to improve the quality of food and drink and I hope that this year will be a good year for all the people and businesses that work so hard to make that happen. Throughout the year with so many events and opportunities to showcase some of the best examples I am looking forward to working with both existing and new food and drink clients.  Here are some examples of recent food and drink projects.

Glengoyne Distillery, near Killearn

The Lodge on Loch Lomond

The Lodge on Loch Lomond in Luss commissioned me to take ta series of photographs to promote their new menu. The brief was simply to show the incredible textures of the food. These food photographs have been widely used by this very popular hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond.

Mhor Group, Loch Lomond

The following photograph is of Tom Lewis one of the owners of the Mhor group receiving the daily catch. I am a big fan of their businesses, Monachyle Mhor Hotel, Mhor 84 Hotel (where this photograph was taken) Mhor Fish and Mhor Bread.

The Oak Tree Inn, Loch Lomond

One of my biggest clients is The Oak Tree in Balmaha, Loch Lomond. The quality of their food and drink is of an incredibly high standard, these photographs feature some of the most popular items on their menu.

The Oak Tree brew their own beer under the brand of Balmaha Brewing Co.

The Oak Tree have also created their own brands of ice cream – Loch Lomond Luxury Ice Cream and Bal-Moo-Ha Ice Cream

The Riverside Deli, Helensburgh

Another popular place for quality food and drink.

Scotia Spice

Something completely different, photographs for Scotia Spice based in Balfron.

The spirit of Stirling Whisky festival

This photograph was commissioned by The Spirit of Stirling Whisky Festival to promote their event and appeared on posters, tickets and literature.

Love Loch Lomond

To end, here’s a Promotional Video that I produced for Love Loch Lomond to promote Food & Drink as part of the Year of Natural Scotland in 2013. It features Glengoyne Distillery, Knockderry Country House Hotel and The Oak Tree Inn.
