The Inn At Kippen
Meet Alice and Mark Silverwood. They run The Inn at Kippen, I took this photograph for Parklife Magazine about a year ago just after they got the keys to their new business. As a customer I have been back a number of times since and always enjoyed wonderful food and service.
I was very pleased recently to be asked by Alice to take a series of photographs for them to use on brochures, a new website etc. The pictures were to be a mix of people, with food and drink, with staff as well. Here are a few of my favourites from a very enjoyable day spent with them, photographing the Inn at Kippen.
Fallen Bewing is located very close to The Inn at Kippen and this was a way of showcasing their craft beers and ales.
Before moving onto the nearest distilleries – Deanston above and Glengoyne below.
The food is something else at The Inn at Kippen, I really admire what Mark has created. In my photography for them I wanted to capture his wonderful presentation of the food, showing the textures and vibrant mix of colours.
In the kitchens I moved fast to capture the chefs at work.
Adding people to the photography of the food brought the experience to life and made it real.
From the food we moved onto cocktails – photography of cocktails that is!
I am really pleased that Alice and Mark have enjoyed good success in their venture. They have worked hard and the Inn at Kippen has an excellent name for food and drink.
As if this wasn’t enough to keep them busy. Alice and Mark have now taken on The Old Mill at Killearn as well. Good luck to them in that venture, early signs are that it will be a huge success too.
