This is Claire getting to see her wedding album for the very first time. I don’t know who was more excited her or me! Below is one of the photographs from her Glasgow wedding.
You can see more examples from Claire and Dougie’s wedding at Glasgow Cathedral and Grand Central Station, Glasgow here.
Claire loved her album and for her and Dougie it’s an item to treasure. So much of the wedding is about the day, the album provides the story in a book to keep forever. Maybe something to show your children down the line!
All of my customers receive the final images on a USB stick. The album though is optional and many brides and grooms take the decision to get an album produced, none regret it.
I’ve looked at many album companies over the years, but there is only one though that comes close. Graphi Studio in Italy. They’ve pioneered the wedding book market and constantly update and evolve their products. Not only increasing the range but improving the processes and production.
I’ve made the process of design incredibly simple. After each wedding I will create a design, a sequence of photographs, that over pages tell the unique story of the wedding. Couples are then free to change pictures and request an alternative layout, many though keep with the same design, maybe swapping an image or two.
Whilst I am photographing the wedding I am picturing the album, imagining the layout and sequence and ensuring that I have a strong mix of images that will really tell the story. Each story is unique, so there is nothing formulaic about this.
As well as the main album there is the option to get replicas produced with hardback, dust jacket covers which are ideal for parents.
Whilst I can offer a vast array of covers, including leather, metal, cloth, suede etc. the one that everyone always seems to want is the Crystal Glance, as shown above. This is a metallic, acrylic cover. It looks stunning and always makes an instant impact.
These Graphi Albums have thick pages, that lie flat and are produced to the highest standard. These albums will last a lifetime, long after the memories of the day start to fade away. All that beautiful detail, the dress, the venue, the guests, the moments, all deserve to be cherished and preserved in a stunning album.
In this video you can get a flavour of the Graphi Studio factory in Italy and the love, care and precision that goes into the creation of wedding books.
I hope that I have convinced you of the value of getting a Wedding Album to tell your story.
