Wedding Details

Posted In: Wedding Photography

Most Wedding Photographers websites will feature lots of images of the Bride & Groom, portraits and photographs that capture the key moments of the day. I am no exception to this and you can see my examples at other blogs including Bride & Groom Photography and Wedding Moments. I thought though that I would write a blog though about my mission to also provide couples with photographs that cover all the amazing detail and elements that help to make their wedding so special and unique.

For the photograph above I wanted to show off the bouquet, of course there are lots of other photographs of the couple looking at the camera, but I aim to add some others which help to tell the true story of their wedding.

A wedding photographer needs to not miss anything. Their eyes constantly looking for interesting compositions. I loved the colour co-ordiantion in this wedding. So I created some cropped pictures highlighting the bouquets (above) and the shoes (below). The bride loved these photographs and included it in her list of images for the Wedding Album.

This wedding was mainly outdoors, taking place in glorious weather.

Pipers are always good subjects for photographs.

Fun photographs here. Something from the Mother & Father of the Bride on the left and on the right a joke that featured in the wedding speeches, with a personalised prop.

An item that many of the guests will keep as a souvenir. Nice to capture on your wedding photographs too.

I am always impressed with how creative couples can be, look at this brilliant schedule for the wedding day, created by the groom. Then on the right a touching present for the bride, passed on by the groom on the morning of their wedding.

Here comes a series of shoe photographs! I wanted to show that I don’t photograph them in a formulaic way. I create something different and appropriate for each wedding that I photograph.

Love the colours and style, against the hard stone of a castles spiral staircase.

Receptions are beautifully prepared. I like to photograph them before the guests arrive as they always look so good.

Always interesting to see the stories behind the table place names. This wedding featured Elvis Presley song titles.

So creative. A seating plan, using second hand picture frames, beautifully presented.
