Wedding Photography at Duchray Castle
Looking at the photograph above I am sure that you can see why I love Wedding Photography at Duchray Castle. What an amazing setting for a wedding.
Duchray Castle is in the Trossachs, near Aberfoyle. You go deep into the forest to get there along a track road, where if you’re lucky you will encounter some deer on your journey to the castle. It’s a magnificent setting, turn a corner and you’ll see Ben Lomond in the distance. I recently compiled a list of my Favourite Wedding Venues in Scotland and it’s not a surprise that Duchray Castle was included.
I was here on a glorious Saturday in May for Nicki and Mel’s wedding. The beauty of the venue is that it was just theirs for the day, wonderfully looked after by Frances and her team. Nicki, Mel and their guests could enjoy all the different aspects of the castle and its setting. From stone spiral staircases to tyre swings there was a host of different opportunities for photographs. Of course Nicki and Mel did a great job of personalising the wedding, making it special and unique, I always love to capture these special touches. They help to tell the story of the wedding day.
Many congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Berwick. Thank-you for letting me photograph your amazing wedding. Here are some of my photographs from their special day.
