Wedding Photography at Glenturret Distillery
My first experience of wedding Photography at Glenturret Distillery could not have been better. The occasion was Eric and Rachel’s wedding and it was a pleasure photographing their big day at this venue. All around the distillery there are some excellent photography opportunities.
Glenturret Distillery is just outside Crieff and holds the title of being Scotland’s oldest distillery. I was very pleased to work with Douglas and Fiona of The Entertainers Agency who were organising the event for Eric and Rachel.
The day though started with photography at Rachel’s family home near Bridge of Earn.
Onto the distillery for the service and the opportunity for photographs of the bridal party as they arrived.
Into the distillery for the service.
After the service the entire wedding party headed back outside for some group photographs, led by the newly married Mr and Mrs Chan, accompanied by their piper.
There is an ideal spot for a group photograph, featuring all of the guests.
Next onto nearby Macrosty Park in Crieff…
….where the highlight was the band stand.
Then onto a nearby location that the couple had discovered and were keen to incorporate into their photographs. Look how stunning their choice was.
Back to Glenturret Distillery for a few more photographs outside.
The couple were then piped in to be greeted by their guests at the drinks reception.
After an amazing dinner, it was onto speeches…
The different elements of the day flowed seamlessly using different rooms at Glenturrett Distillery. Following the speeches it was then time for Rachel and Eric’s first dance as Mr & Mrs Chan.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Perthshire I would highly recommend Glenturret Distillery. Special mention too for caterers Wilde Thyme at Glenturret. Hopefully I will get a return visit in the near future.
