Woodland Light Experience

Posted In: Photography For Business

At around 11.30pm one Thursday night in August the sky finally went dark enough for me to take this photograph. This was a promotional photograph to be used in the posters and advertising for the Woodland Light Experience at Balfron Station, Stirlingshire in November 2015. The final result can be seen below.

I returned on the opening night of the experience on November 12th and was very impressed with the adventure. I won’t give too much away, but the picture shows where the experience starts with a walk into the woods. Then once in the woods there are all kinds of shows, views and attractions.

Only a fraction had been set up in August, just enough to test out the area and to of course take the promotional photographs. This was the first Woodland Light Experience at Balfron Station and I am sure there will be more in future years.

This is another example of this rich pocket of entrepreneurial spirit and endeavour in Stirlingshire and Loch Lomond. Well done to Lesley and Kenny who turned this idea into a reality.

Straight after the Woodland Light Experience the site then becomes home for Santa and his grotto. Santa even paid a summer visit to allow me to take a photograph of him in front of his grotto!
